Phase II: Prototype Feedback


It took way too long but life’s gonna life. With only 3 days left I got the prototype up and working. Not that it was that hard to set up once I got my head around the best solutions. Keeping all the logic separate from the sprites worked as expected. This allows me to build all the game logic once and then on each stage it’s just visual changes. I could build in stats that I can change to give each art style a more unique feel.

Next up, with no time to waste. I have collected the art assets I want to use for the levels. In a perfect world I’d like to make an easy, mid and hard level per art style. But for the next steps let’s build 1 level per art style and then get it all hooked up.

Reminder: Done is better than perfect
